Our Lunch Lecture series resumes with a presentation on the new and innovative Chesterton Academy of St. Phillip Neri, presented by the headmaster, Dr. Luke Murray. The Academy opens in the fall of 2022 for grades 9-12 next door to Our Lady of Good Counsel in Westport. Join us on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Polsinelli law firm on the Plaza for a delicious lunch catered by Garozzo’s.
Please register and pay in advance; at $15 per person, it’s a bargain! Parking is free in the firm’s garage. We start at noon and end at 1:00.

Our local Guild is an affiliate of the Catholic Bar Association, which was born right here in Kansas City and is holding its 2021 Annual Conference at Ave Maria School of Law from October 21-23 in beautiful Naples, Florida. This year’s theme is “Catholic Lawyers: Navigating Turbulent Waters.” Register here for the early bird price until September 7.

Save the Date for the live return of the Red Mass at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Visitation south of the Plaza. The Mass will be concelebrated by Bishop Johnston, our host, and Archbishop Naumann; our homilist will be Fr. Alex Kreidler. The Guild will present this year’s St. Thomas More Award recipient, and Mass will be followed by drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
